I was really excited to have our Frankley Thinking Tool Box on paper and finalised.

From the initial data I had collected on my classes general experience and understanding in using thinking tools and strategies I knew I could just go for it.

I had used the hats before, had used blooms taxonomy and some graphic organisers. To be honest I had got out of the habit of using them so explicitly. I was happy to be back on track.

We were still at the initial stages of our Inquiry and the green hat fitted in nicely.

My plan was to introduce and consolidate my classes understanding by planning many activities to do with the hats - the green hat as mentioned fitted beautifully with ideas for selling to make a profit, new ideas.

Our team had a SWOT graphic organiser in the thinking tool box. I had never used this before - once again there was a perfect opportunity to introduce this within our Inquiry - choosing what product to make  - each group narrowed their choice down to two products - the SWOT helped with the final choice.

I planed to use blooms to guide my reading response activities. This was something I had done but now with renewed focus.

Lyn had given us some ideas for PMI when sharing news etc. - I tries this and it was great. More writing was shared in an easier way for recording for some students

My initial plan - bring in the thinking hats
Use blooms

Look at open/closed questioning
Try some of the activities Lyn had shared with us
Using photos/news clips for questioning, hats
