Summarising
Reflect on progress, observations: current versus initial data. How did it go? What strategies have made a difference to my students' learning?  How do I know?
  •  Students are now familiar with thinking hats, PMI, SWOT( although need more exposure to this graphic organiser)
  • Thinking hats were used in many different activities and probably were more of a major focus in the activities planned
  • Have a better understanding of closed/open questions
  • have been challenged by the activities around forming a question for an answer
  • have enjoyed the activities where blooms has ensured children are extended through activities that involve analysis, creating and evaluating. Remembering , understanding and applying activities were used as a basis for initially ensuring good comprehension.
  • My learning has grown - grown in planning with specific tools and strategies to extend thinking
  •  feel using thinking tools and strategies is stretching all children in my class and is ensuring more children are involved in discussions - gives the more reluctant participators a framework to help them be more successful
  • Use of allinoneplanner to plan specific Learning to Learn skills to enhance the key competencies
